A celebrated home-away-from-home for generations of bankers, billionaires and the beau monde, who’ve all coveted her iconic address overlooking Paradeplatz, along Zürich’s ‘Swiss Wall Street’, Bahnhofstrasse. Now re-burnished with Parisian savoir-faire by designer Tristan Auer, the Savoy shines more sensuously than ever, adding some much needed luxe-lustre to this famously conservative city.

What we love

An enviable location, surrounded by quiessential Swissness. The best boutiques, the choicest chocolates, the most charming cafes. We love it when luxury is within line of sight. Shopping sprees aside, the Limmat and Lake Zürich beckons just beyond, or why not take it all in from above at 1838, the Savoy’s tiptop rooftop bar, and toast to the twin towers of nearby Grossmünster, or simply to being at the centre of everything, which is where the Savoy has alway been... and where she remains.

Bigger, brighter, more beauitful, less stuffy — the 80 rooms and 38 suites are now some of the city’s most spacious, but its the Baur Suite, name after the Savoy’s founder, that holds a nostalgic sway for us
