The Art Deco-styled Superior Rooms have been designed to create the feeling of being in a suite. Jisoo Chon started his career with The Peninsula Hotels in Chicago as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage since 2008 and was later promoted to Director of Food & Beverage. He was then relocated to The Peninsula Shanghai as Executive Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage and promoted to Resident Manager since 2015. In November, 2017, Chon has been appointed as General Manager of The Peninsula Shanghai. A graduate of Ecole Hoteliere de Glion, Switzerland with Distinction, Chon has been instrumental in food & beverage operations and management as he gained his experience in a number of luxury hotels in New York and Chicago. Chon is native in Korean and English.
