A classic Italian-American spot in the heart of Greenwich Village, this restaurant is the work of Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi and Jeff Zalaznic. Their vision was to bring high quality Italian comfort foods served in an elegant setting, and that’s exactly what they have done. This slice of heaven pays homage to The Godfather, with their blue and red checkered floors and artwork on the walls: imagine a combination of the 1950’s and hipster-chic. But be prepared to book a month in advance, reservations don’t come easy here.
